Information for repeaters. Biochemistry I.

(2016/2017. 1st semester):

-          Every repeater has to register into a 2nd year group in the NEPTUN. You have to visit all lessons of the subject in this group (exception can be given by the head of department). This group can be different from the group of your other subjects.

The final name list of 2nd year students will be posted on the information board of the department (LSB downstairs, 1st corridor) and on our website on the 4th week. This name list will be the seminar list, we will register students into groups according the seminar groups. -          Repeaters will get new code numbers in this year. New code numbers will be given by the seminar teachers on the 4th week seminars, or you can ask it from Encs Mirjam (education official) on email: Ez az e-mail cím a spamrobotok elleni védelem alatt áll. Megtekintéséhez engedélyeznie kell a JavaScript használatát. . This code number will be different from the NEPTUN code!

-          Lectures are not obligatory for repeaters, they can collect bonus points without visiting the lectures (if they attend them previously and have got the signature).

-          Seminars are not obligatory for repeaters (if they previously attend them), but in this semester only those repeater students can get seminar bonus points, who don’t miss more than 3 seminars.

On the seminars 10 bonus points can be collected by the seminar tests. According to the results of the tests, from 60% 4 bonus points; from 70% 6 bonus points; from 80 % 8 bonus points; from 90% 10 bonus points can be collected (please ask for more details from the seminar teachers). Seminar bonus points will be added to the total points collected during the semester (bonus points cannot be added to the result of the written semester exam points). Bonus points can’t be transferred from the previous years.

All repeaters have to pick up the seminars in the Neptun.

-          Practicesare not obligatory for repeaters(if they made them previously). Last year practical points are counted automatically (you don’t have to write any request about it). But! The previous practice points will be multipled by 0,8 points, because in this semester students can collect max. 20 bonus points by the practices (last year it was max. 25 points). Students can decide to make the practices again in order to improve the practice points, but in this case students have to do all the practices and write the lab. test again. You cannot rewrite the lab.test without repeating the labs!

All repeaters have to pick up the practices in the Neptun.

Don’t forget, that only those students can get the offered grade, who reaches the 60% of the practical points (12 points)

-          In this semester students can collect 80 points by two control tests (all together 80 test questions, 1 point for each correct answer), 20 points on the practicals, and 8 points on the seminars (100 + 10 points).

-          Repeaters can not transfer the points of Biochem I. control tests from the previous years. If you want to collect the points, you have to write the tests again. You can write the control tests without any request letter. Control tests are not obligatory.

-          Electronic lecture material can be downloaded from our website (http://bmbi.med.unideb.hu, username: student, password: student2016).

-          Request letters can be delivered personally in the official hours (LSB 3rd floor 3.101. room, contact hour: 11-12:30 a.m.).
